The latest Sony Ericsson smartphone could be available soon to Vodafone customers, according to reports.
It has emerged that the network last week posted the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 on its Vodafone Business Shop website with a footnotes saying that the expected launch of the handset is October.
Vodafone claim that the "stylish but powerful feature-rich premium Windows Mobile device that doesn't compromise on style with its premium metal finish" and that its slide-out qwerty keyboard is "unique".
The phone is also equipped with a three-inch colour touchscreen and mobile broadband connectivity capable of speeds up to 7.2Mbps.
An FM Radio will also feature along with an integrated GPS system that can be used alongside the Vodafone SatNav service.
Mobile Whack reported earlier this month that Sony Ericsson was also working on the Xperia X5 which, despite the X1 having not yet been launched, will follow the original handset.
