One of the latest entries into the Nokia N-series range of mobile phones has been officially commented on by the manufacturer.
The Finnish company this week launched the N79 and claims the new model will offer a wide selection of high performance multimedia functions, while incorporating fashionable, customisable design.
The Nokia N79 is equipped with a five-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, ten pre-loaded N-Gage gaming titles, integrated navigation, a multimedia player, FM transmitter and high-speed internet connectivity.
Nokia believe that this makes the N79 a "technology powerhouse" and commenting on its launch, the manufacturer's N-series director Juha Kokkonen said that this had been finely balanced with the design of the handset.
"It has been designed for those who want a device that is as appealing as it is powerful and comes with interchangeable covers that have automatically matching screen themes," he said.
Pocket lint reports that the new handset could be available to UK consumers next month.
