Users of Apple's latest 3G mobile phones will soon be able to take advantage of a new Nike + system, according to reports.
Trusted Reviews reports that the iPhone and iPod Touch will get a revised version of the software, which has traditionally been integrated with users Nike training shoes to keep track of fitness regimes.
It states that French website iPhon.fr has posted a number of images for the new application and that these offer a good idea of what users can expect on its release.
However, whereas other incarnations of Nike+ have involved a separate sensor, the site adds that with iPhones 3G, W-iFi and EDGE abilities this may mean that this is unnecessary.
"There is understandably no indication as to availability or price for this latest incarnation of Nike+ but it certainly seems to be in the latter stages of tweaking and bug fixes," the article adds.
